You have to show a passive or remote income of minimum 705 €/month or better 1200+ €/month in the last year. The income must be transparent, stable and predictible.

Founder/Founders are older than 18 years, have no criminal record,living outside the Schengen area, have no tax debts and can prove more than €5146.8 in a bank account.

You have to find support by one of the local business incubators (it's easy, we'll show you how).

You should show growth capacity of more than €325,000 per year and/or an asset value of more than €325,000 per year after 5 years of incubation period. And your project should have an intention to create qualified jobs in Portugal, but it's not regulated.

You can pitch in as a team of three. Moreover, you can pitch together with your partner. This will greatly speed up the legalization in Portugal.

Unlike in other countries, in Portugal, you can have pretty simply ideas, unlike, for example, the startup visa in the Netherlands. And incubators are willing to support foreigners.

You don't need a revue or a ready-made business model. Moreover, it will be more difficult to get a startup visa at the implementation stage than at the idea stage. So that's the conundrum =)

You have to find an apartment in Portugal and show a rent contract registered with the Portuguese tax office (there are some options, please study our guides).

From Turkey, you can apply without a Portuguese bank account and without a one-year rental contract. In Belgrade (Serbia), you can apply with a 4-month rental contract.

Show more than it is asked for. Not €705, but €1,500+. Not €8,500 in the bank account, but €16,000 or more.

If you have less money on the accounts (for example you can't show 16 000), then show more money of your monthly income. And if your income per year is less, put more money in a Portuguese bank.
